2006 Darioush Napa Valley Signature Merlot
This wine is a Bordeaux style estate wine and grown on volcanic soil (rocky and dry). The tannins are refined and soft, yet with depth and balance. This wine can cellar up to 10 or more years.
The nose is of Dark Chocolate, Black cherry, Savory lavender and cinnamon.
A beautiful wine that can hold its own as food is optional. This wine reminds me of Black Forrest Cake…..Yum!
